The longer newborn session has the versatility of a couple of locations if you wish, which can be a great chance to burn off toddler beans in the morning before we capture some solo portraits of your new arrival. Newborn sessions are a mix of loosely ‘posed’ (or guided?!) photographs and all the chaos in between, are never ‘linear’ (this is code for a lot of pooing and feeding, usually!) and offer lots of opportunities for slow, gentle moments of connection.

We started the session at their local gardens then popped home for the easy photos on the big bed. This beautiful squish was only ten days old and still very curled up - magic.
