Most two year olds are busy, but some are busy. If you know - you know (I’ve had two - I relate)! Don’t let this put you off the thought of newborn photos though - there is always sunshine amidst the cyclone of whirlwind toddlers. The beauty of being at home means they can zoom in and out, without the stress of being in a studio. I can’t necessarily promise a calm experience (is anything calm with a toddler?), but a sense of humour and lots of responsiveness from you - and lots of games and distractions and a bit of trickery from me go a long way.
I love capturing the beauty in the messy, visceral, sometimes funny and all consuming reality of this season of life - however it looks for and your butterballs of energy.
