Come as you are - genuinely. I’m looking for moments of connection and joy, to create images that feel like you. Photographs that are artistically beautiful and timeless, and ultimately useful.
I’m under no illusion that most people enjoy having their photo taken - I’ll gently direct and pose you, and keep you moving around and chatting. My job is to find and manipulate the light, put you in it, remind you to look like you like each other, maybe get a laugh, and capture what happens next.
Your photographs are delivered via a beautiful online gallery with access to Australia’s best print labs. Everything else is optional.
LONG FORM SESSION

1.5-2 hours at home, or somewhere you can explore. Option of two locations.
Digital gallery of all edited images in a mix of colour and b+w (many in both) to download in print and web resolutions, with $100 print credit.
These are ideal for families with 2+ kids, especially if you live on a property and/or want to capture the kids immersed in their interests, interacting with you, each other and their environment, and more candid insights into life together at home.
A mix of structured portraits and much more child-led go with the flow time.
STANDARD SESSION

45-60 minutes at home, or somewhere easy and perhaps special to you.
Digital gallery of all edited images in a mix of colour and b+w (many in both) to download in print and web resolutions, with $75 print credit.
This is about the right amount of time for most families to get a real mix of staged and candid portraits, with a bit of play and exploration in between.
QUICK UPDATE

20-30 minutes at home, or somewhere easy and perhaps special to you.

This is the quick and easy photo update and is particularly suited to older kids, or kids who are very comfortable in front of the camera.
These sessions are usually limited to immediate family groups within an hour of Bendigo unless by prior arrangement.

EXTENDED FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS
I love photographing extended families (truly!). It’s a chance for some photos all together, along with some special smaller groupings as well as time for each family unit. Generally these are structured as a mini session for each individual family plus one for the entire group, but get in touch for a quote.
JUST YOU & THE KIDS
One parent with the monkey(s). The kind of photos you wish your partner would take of you in this fleeting, all consuming stage of life. It isn’t vanity to want some nice photos to remember this period of your life, without showcasing the extra chins and eye bags. These are mid week during the school term, at home or somewhere you feel comfortable, at a discounted rate to regular sessions. Greater Bendigo only.
